Het is een vreemde tijd. Velen zitten opgesloten in hun huis vanwege een vrijwillige of verplichte quarantaine of “intelligente lockdown”. Corona of COVID-19 lijkt zich voornamelijk te richten op de groep 50-plussers. We zijn dus eigenlijk behoorlijk de Sjaak en hoe ouder we zijn, hoe meer risico we lopen. Belangrijk dus dat we ons goed houden aan de regels, zoals handen wassen, zoveel mogelijk thuis blijven en afstand houden. Dat betekent ook, de kleinkinderen niet kunnen zien. En dat is behoorlijk zuur. Gelukkig zijn er allemaal manieren om toch contact te kunnen blijven houden. We noemen er een paar op.
Online opa en oma middag
Bellen
Elkaar bellen ligt natuurlijk het meest voor de hand. Met of zonder beeld. Maar als de kleinkids nog heel klein zijn, dan is bellen misschien geen goede optie. Wat wel een leuk idee kan zijn is een hoesje ontwerpen met de foto van je kleinkinderen erop! Zo zie je ze toch de hele dag. En wellicht kun je wel skypen of Facetimen met je zoon of dochter en kunnen zij de kleinkinderen even in beeld brengen?!
Tijd om te vloggen
Misschien heb je er nooit aan moeten denken om je leven te gaan vloggen, maar het kan juist nu een leuk idee zijn. Je hoeft je filmpjes heus niet te delen met “de hele wereld” en je hoeft ook echt niet direct een influencer te worden, maar het is wel leuk om je huidige leven bij te houden en te delen met zoon, dochter en/of de kleinkinderen. Als zij dit dan ook voor jullie doen, blijven jullie toch van elkaar op een leuke manier op de hoogte.
Dagboek
Als je nou absoluut niet in beeld wilt komen, zelfs niet in een privéfilmpje, dan kun je er eventueel voor kiezen om een digitaal dagboek bij te houden. Zeg maar een combinatie tussen het schijven van een brief en het bijhouden van een fotoboek, want natuurlijk mogen foto’s niet ontbreken (al is het maar en foto van die heerlijke cake die je hebt gebakken). Deze kun je dagelijks of wekelijks delen met de kleinkinderen. Misschien kunnen zij dit ook voor jou doen! Super leuk! Want op deze manier kunnen ook tekeningen worden gedeeld!
Weekkrant
Wil je helemaal losgaan in je creativiteit dan is een dagboek natuurlijk niet genoeg. Ga dan voor de kleinkinderen aan de slag met een weekkrant. In die weekkrant staan niet alleen jullie belevingen met foto’s, maar bijvoorbeeld ook rebussen, raadsels, moppen en ander leuks! Leef je helemaal uit! Als je niet naar buiten mag, heb je toch niet heel veel beters te doen. Je kunt er zelfs voor kiezen om het een beetje interactief te maken, zodat de kleinkinderen het juiste antwoord op de raadsels weer naar jou moeten terug sturen. Misschien kun je er zelfs een klein prijsje aan koppelen!
Social Media
Zijn de kleinkinderen helemaal verzot op social media? Dan neem je toch ook gewoon een account! Wellicht heb je al Facebook, maar de kans is klein dat je daar de kleinkinderen gaat tegenkomen. Tegenwoordig vind je ze meer op Instagram, Snapchat en Tiktok! Niks zeggen en dan zien ze opeens een filmpje van hun eigen opa of oma voorbij komen!
En als je een beetje handig bent op de computer, maak dan je eigen Memes. Een meme is een foto met grappige tekst erbij. Rete populair bij de jeugd op dit moment. Delen kan via Whatsapp of andere social media kanalen.
Aapjes kijken
Als de kleinkinderen niet te ver weg wonen kunnen ze misschien af en toe langs komen en vanaf de straat naar je zwaaien, zodat jullie elkaar toch even kunnen zien. Ze kunnen zelfs met speciale raamstiften een tekening op je ramen voor je maken! Hoe leuk is dat!
Kaartjes sturen
Af en toe elkaar en kaartje sturen is ook nog steeds leuk. Tegenwoordig hoef je niet eens naar buiten om de kaart te posten. Je kunt online alles regelen en dan wordt de kaart gewoon via de post voor je verstuurd. Jij hoeft daar de deur niet meer voor uit.
Hopelijk waait Corona weer snel over en kunnen jullie elkaar weer snel uitgebreid knuffelen! Want er gaat natuurlijk niks boven fysiek contact! Ik wens iedereen voor de komende periode een goede gezondheid!
